If we give you US $1 Million, how will you change the world?
The biggest start-up event in the world comes to University of Delhi for the first time, Hult Prize, a start-up accelerator for social entrepreneurship brings together the brightest college students from around the globe to solve the world’s most pressing issues. Brought to you by SIIF and Yuva, the ECell of Shaheed Sukhdev College Of Business Studies is associated with the *Bill Clinton Foundation*. Clearly, there is no better way to accelerate your journey!
How? Pitch your idea and launch your company._
There are awards worth millions of dollars in investment capital to young budding entrepreneurs, including a grand prize of *USD 1 Million* for the winner (after World Cup at New York).
This year’s question, *what opportunities exist to harness the power of energy to transform the lives of 10 million people?*
Core areas affected by energy use that may form the basis of 2018 entries include :
● Farming, food, and agriculture
● Water collection, storage and transport
● Health and the human experience
(can go beyond these six)
How it Works:
– As soon as you register, you’ll be sent an idea document to assist you with idea formation.
– A presentation of 6 minutes is to be prepared for the final pitching day at Shaheed Sukhdev.
– There will be a 4 minute QnA round.
The winning team at University of Delhi advances to the Nationals at Gurugram. Further advancements are to regional finals (held at Boston, San Francisco, London, Dubai, Shanghai, Toronto, Mexico City, Quito, Bogota, Melbourne, Lagos, Nairobi, Cairo, Tunisia, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore) and then the World Championship (at New York). There is funding and mentorship throughout.
Winning start-ups from each city move onto the Hult Prize Accelerator for the summer before attending the President Bill Clinton hosted global finals at the United Nations, which will take place in September 2018, during UNGA.
All the best!
